The Pitiful Gardener’s Blog has a new home! February 15, 2008

We’re glad you’ve found us.  Connie and Tracy are still gardening, but in a new spot. One of the downsides of moving to a new home is losing touch with old friends. Hopefully, everybody got our change of address. We’re looking forward to having a more interactive blog now.

For those of you who don’t know us, we’re the authors of ”The Pitiful Gardener’s Handbook.” This collaboration between a truly pitiful gardener and her expert gardening angel is a must-read for the throngs of wannabe gardeners struggling over their yards. The book that focuses on you first, then your yard! February 15, 2008

If you’re responding to the notion that you might be a pitiful gardener, than you’ve landed at the right spot. It’s something you just kind of know about yourself, though you may not have ever realized or admitted it before.  There’s a throng of us! 

Gardening books typically jump right into plants and gardens. But that doesn’t help much if you don’t feel like a successful gardener. That’s what we’ve aimed to change over the years. You have to first figure out what’s going on with you. Then you can tackle your yard better.

That’s what we like to help you with. It’s why we wrote the book.

This blog used to be in another location. We’ve switched here to get more interactivity. But it also meant losing a year’s worth of good advice written on the other site! But we’ll have fun building it back up.

In the meantime, buy our book, “The Pitiful Gardener’s Handbook: Successful Gardening in Spite of Yourself.” It’s a fast, humorous, but very practical read. It looks at gardening in a unique way, while it gets you to examine your true attitude about gardening and how that influences what you’re doing in your yard. 

 Visit us often, and join in the discussion! We have wanted to create a community of pitiful gardeners, and hope to do that in this location. We’re a group that loves to laugh at our gardening goofs, and then try again. We’re the group that keeps nurseries in business!
